Program transfer fusion floppy to matrix usb

I have a 1999 VTC 16B and just took delivery of a Nexus 510C, the Vtc has a floppy drive and the 510C has USB whats the best and easiest way to get programs from the Vtc to 510C and can you go the other way if you had to.

tiger direct has floppy disk to usb adapters. I don't know if your Fusion programs will transfer to the Matrix control. It's a different animal, but we have an Integrex 200SY that has the MT Fusion (not the MT Pro) and we can't transfer programs directly to our Matrix Integrex. We have to go from the MT Fusion to the MT Pro Fusion to the Matrix. I'm not sure about this, but Griffo brothers software will allow you to do this, and go from Matrix back to Fusion. Without the software, I'm 99% sure that you won't be able to load programs from your matrix back to your Fusion. Good Luck

If you're running G code.... it won't really matter what version control you're coming from and going to.... For a mill anyway.

An easy way aside from the USB floppy drive (and if you don't have a DNC system) is just load it onto a PC or laptop and then put it on a thumb drive...

Another solution is a professional floppy emulator,
different from mass production chinese devices.
