Mine's been broken for a while and I think the service guy said the encoder was bad. He disabled the 4th (though it still shows on the position page- i don't have to home it out though) and i've been running that way ever since. As I recall, it would move just fine until you hit this one particular spot and the machine would throw a red overload alarm that I'd have to power cycle the mill to clear.
Im thinking about trying to fix this myself to save money. Just wondering what I'm getting into.
