Thread: Strange Issue with Slant Turn

My new slant turn 20 ATC M/C has a Kitagawa S-20 collet chuck in it.

When I turn the machine on, the chuck is open. The indicator on the panel says it is closed. When I step on the pedal, it says it's open, and the chuck closes.

The unit had a bar feeder on it and now doesn't.

Turning the Internal/External chuck key doesn't change the indicator to Internal or change anything.

Ideas? Thanks!

Check your parameter(s).
Don't have a book in front of me, but it seems to me that there are two or three things you have to change to interface a bar feeder.

I'd be willing to bet that if you did the right search on here you'd find a similar Q&A.
