Hi,

One of my frustrations is not being able to place a priority on a sub program in Mazatrol.

Has anyone discovered a work-around for this?

I hope I'm not missing the obvious here and about to subject myself to shame.

As it stands, any subs will be executed at the end of a program.

There are times when I need to have subs executed before another maz unit and in these cases I'm forced to split it into several operations when one would be simpler.

Cheers,
Pete

I've managed to find a work-around for my latest instance.
It was an ISO Threadmilling sub which I've now written as a Manual Program Unit and seems to work properly.
I didn't try it at first because I didn't think it would like the helical move, however, it seems fine with G3 and I's & J's. I'd previously used R's which were rejected.

You can call the subprogram in a manual program and give the tool a priority number. It would be a G65 and P for the program number.
