Hello, we have a Integrex 35Y machine and have to alter tool change position to clear work with Large OD. When I change the P17 parameter to 4 and tell it where the new change position needs to be in Z via A5, the machine will go to this position but then always goes to machine reference position to do the actual tool change. Is there an additional parameter I need to change to make tool changes in Z position of my choosing?
On this machine the head can be positioned only in vertical or horizontal orientation. Tool changes always happen in horizontal orientation and on X machine reference position in order to align with tool changer. However, Z position should be changeable.
How do I force tool change to happen at alternate Z position?
