    Default VQC hydraulic counterbalance

Does anyone have any experience with the counterbalance? I can't find a valve in the
manuals that would control the cylinder. I think that the cylinder walls may have become
polished/damaged allowing fluid to bypass and creating an excessive load on the z servo.

Under the front Z axis cover in front of spindle motor. Three valve stack- co bal valve is center with a gauge block and gauge installed. If blow by is happening you should have a hydraulic leak from the breather installed in the bottom of the cylinder. Also tank level will be dropping.
