I had the same problem today!
-
I bought this back in march and has been sitting pretty much ever since. We got it leveled, hooked up and coolant in it and it sat because I always felt to busy to make a cable for the computer. Jobs were coming up and they were always, "no time to make a cable now, just put the job on the other machine." Finally we "had" to put a job on it and I still just programmed it in G-code The thing runs good and it was inexpensive, so I'm happy. Only problem is a bug in the toolchanger, but I will get that fixed. I called Kitamura USA about the machine, and they said, "Oh, you don't just have a Mycenter 2, you have a 2C". They only brought 5 or 6 of those from Japan, and no one in the office here has ever seen one, can you send some pics so we know what they look like?

So we are milling these plates, and Billy comes in the next morning to finish the job and the power rotary table won't run. we poke around in the magic box for a little while learning nothing, I can't find the electronic tech I use most of the time, and Billy says, we need to finish these things, the drive is a DC unit, lets hook the battery charger to it. So we end up with 3 speeds 6V,12V, and 24V. It gets us through the job anyway.

No ground moles in your yard eh?
Gotta love those security gaurds that werk for less than the rent'a cops. And they will doo a much better job as well!
I picked up an areal pic of this place from the mid 70's when one guy came around a cpl yrs ago. I thought that was kewl. Kant see enough detail in your pic to give a time-frame, but considering the condition of the barn, and yet black/white photo - I bet it was close to the early 70's at least too?
Did they have planes in Ontario before that?
Or did they just git Perry to scramble up in that thar tree you s'pose?

They didn't get planes in Ontario until 1981, before that we used hot air ballons.
