Wanted to pick up some 3-in-1 Oil, and found that they have a blue bottle as well as the familiar white-and-red. I looked it up, and apparently the blue has no detergent additives, but I've never heard anything about not using the regular bottle. Anyone know?

From the 3-in-1 Oil website: What is the difference between 3-IN-ONE® Multi-Purpose and Motor Oils?

3-IN-ONE Multi-Purpose Oil is a precision lubricating oil for a variety of uses from lubricating moving parts to preventing rust.

3-IN-ONE Motor Oil is a special blend of high grade oils equivalent to SAE 20. The Standard American Equivalent (SAE) is 17. It is also ideal for lubricating moving parts of electrical motors.

The Motor Oil is in the red, blue, and white bottle, while the Multi-purpose Oil is in the red, black, and white bottle.
