Angle between tables

Any ideas how to check if the angle between tables is 90 degrees ? Measuring lines should be linear bearing guide rails of tables. Upper table has no rails mounted on the picture

Unless I'm missing something and oversimplifying the problem, the process would be to mount a machinist square against the linear rail and then indicate as the lower slide moves. If upper rails are not yet mounted, the registration surface would be the same edge that aligns the rail(s).
