Autocollimator optical square and mounting of reference mirror on vertical surfaces

Hello,
I have been trying to figure out the proper way to mount a reference mirror on column ways. I can find no descriptions nor photos showing such. Been trying to figure this out to maintain the accuracy of the equipment.

I think the larger question is exactly what are you trying to accomplish, and what exactly do you have? There are mirror mounts which are magnetic, and maybe that is what you want. There is a large collection of downloadable information on the Brunson website, including a number of K&E/Cubic Precision guidebooks and manuals which might be helpful.
