B&S Tesa micrometer repair

Hi folks,

I’m in the middle of repairing a Brown and Sharpe Tesa digital micrometer. The problem is that I can’t figure out how to remove the friction and speed thimbles. Here’s a link to the model I’m working on, the 599-000:

I think that the speed thimble all the way to the right, dark grey, is press fitted. Does anyone know if that’s right and how I would get it off?
