I'm looking for a grade 2 or better CMM artifact for weekly CMM checking. I'm looking at something like the quick chek from Auto-Met, but I don't know if I can convince the boss to part with $4K. Whatever I get will have to be grade 2 or better and NIST traceable. I'd like something that tests perpendicularity as well or I'd just get a ring gauge.
