Guys, I'm looking for advise on various sources/alternatives for something like this:
Bench Comparators
These are nice and unless someone has a better alternative suggestion, I will be getting the Y version right after Eastec.
Reason for alternatives is simple. These things are likely not cheap, so would like to buy one that's as versatile as it can possibly be.
I'd like to measure ID/OD and lengths in a comparative mode, and want something durable and foolproof enough to be put on the shopfloor.
I have a swing gage that is incredibly valuable for the oddities, but it is very finicky to use and set up. It does have a 2" - 24" range tough.
Looking for something around 20" or so max.
