I have a J&L PC-14 that has a double shadow. is this an alignment issue, and if so what do I adjust?

Is the double shadow seen when you are using surface reflection option? If so then the wrong mirror is installed on the reflector.
If the double shadow is shown on the profile image than you have a bad lens or bad rear mirror. Try swapping to another magnification lens and see if problem goes away.
The PC-14/PC-14A only use 1 mirror and I have never seen misalignment of the machine cause a double image unless it is a 2+ mirror system - Good luck

Is it possible a mirror was installed backwards? Most people are not familiar with "first surface mirrors" and would naturally try to install it like a bathroom mirror, with the "silver" toward the back.
