10EE low-height Steady Rest trade for taller one

When I was faced with the same issue, I made riser blocks for the low height steady. Held them on with a couple of small flat head screws. Now that I have a nice EE, it is the low height, just pulled the blocks off and good to go.

Great deal easier than having to cut-down a high-height to fit a low-height, no?
Annnnd .. it is a steady rest. Not a tailstock. Adjustable by nature.
The blocks don't even need to be especially high-precision.
