Module Drive squirrel cage fan needed

Fans for electric motors are readily available as spares from motor rebuilders/stockists. You will probably find something compatible for a few bucks, 5 maybe.

I recently picked up a sawbench from the dump. The fan end cowling on the motor had been knocked in, breaking off 2/3rds of the fan blades. Priced a new one at £5, but it runs stone cold as is so have not bothered.

These fans are pretty crude, straight radial blades, noisy. Could be a fan from a junked PC would serve and be quieter?

Like the title says, does anyone have a spare available? I bought my lathe and it is missing this fan unfortunately.

Thanks!

Grainger/Dayton will almost certainly have a drop-in replacement in their lineup. There are other sources. Commodity items those are. Monarch bought it in, too, after all. It is neither proprietary, nor even overly picky as to exact match.
