I have been using my 10ee quite a bit and am just noticing that when I engage the spindle the rpms spool up to about 100-200 above where it is set and then settle right back down. It only happens at startup and I possibly just at lower speeds. I did not try it today at 1000 plus to see if the same is happening. I will check it tomorrow. It is almost instantaneous. The needle jumps past, and then immediately back down, less than a second. Anything that could be adjusted or is there just so much torque that it surges and then settles when started? I was thinking maybe the FA relay. Or possibly the rpms are beating the braking resistors from being disengaged, then they disengage and there is a surge. I will try above armature only speed tomorrow to see if it is different. It doesn't affect anything really, just wondered.
