Monarch 10EE taper attachment rod with knurled nuts any one interested?

I was looking on ebay and saw a taper attachment rod for sale for $200 and thought that's too much.. Does anyone need the taper attachment rod for their 10EE? I was thinking about making some out of O1 with 4130 knurled nuts. If you are interested please let me know I'm thinking $45 shipped complete with knurled nuts. Thanks Robert

Clearly an item easily done in house, BUT.. I can't really beat your price if I am honest about time-value & c., and it is one more thing that would free up MY scarce time for harder stuff.

So yes. I'll be pleased to buy one!

Same lathe as the clamp: 1943 MG-era Round-Dial, low height.

I don't have a TA on the other 10EE, but your used parts have been good so far.

OTOH, Bob can make an arbitrarily large number of NEW ones - indefinitely.

PM or email me.

Between what you have and what Bob is making, NEW, I could mebbe start accumulating the bits to put a TA onto BOTH 10EE.
