So as found my 10ee had a loose TS handwheel.
Disassembled and cleaned up and I see I am missing about 3/8" of "take up"
It seems to have a wonky thrust bearing. One of the races has a groove in it and the other is flat on both sides. Has the hub of the handwheel been cut down? Is the current thrust bearing MUCH shorter than the OEM? I can machine a spacer to takeup the missing gap, but looking at the monarch drawings all my pieces are there, but my existing pieces just dont "stack up"
