I just purchased a 1947 mg machine and its missing its compound, anyone out there have a spare?

I might know of one - is this for an old height or new height lathe? A 1947 should be new height but you never know...

I have one for a Square dial $185.00 + shipping.

It has the gib but is missing the gib screws has the bronze nut I have nothing else that goes with it.

Corners haven't been knocked off by the chuck, thats a good sign.

Is the data plate on the quick-change (threading) gearbox round or square? If it's square, it's called a "square-dial" and is "new height".

Just figured I'd piggy back on this thread -

I'm looking for a round dial compound in decent shape for a '43. Mine has had a hard life and could use replacement. also interested in a carriage top section w/o a ton of wear if by chance they are coming off of the same machine.
