OSP 7000M - Create new program

How do you create a new program on OSP 7000M at the control?

All I can find in the book is how to load from the floppy.

I created one with the INIT button the other day, but I guess I don't remember how I did it because I can't get it to work today. Although I did figure out how to delete all the programs from memory :crazy:

Found it - Edit Aux, Edit(F4), type in a program name with the file extension and press write.

Never did find it in any of the books. Maybe it's somewhere though.

I have always hit "edit" then "write" and it creates a new program called "a.min". Then I have to rename it to what I want. Thanks for letting me know I can name it when I start.

I am new to the Okuma's, but they seem like neat controls. I am liking it so far. I have a lot of stuff to learn though.

lol yeah, be careful with the INITialize button, that erases everything.
