Hi All,
Thanks again for a great forum.
I am reading up on my newly purchased LB15 ii.
I am new to CNC so please forgive me if this is a silly question.
I 'thought' tool nose radius compensation allowed you to write your program based on the true part geometry and the computer did all the maths to make a tool with given nose radius cut the right path.
As I start to read the programming manual (start) it seems as though I may have to manually alter tool paths (program) to achieve the right geometry in radius and taper turning.
Can you please advise?
I am hoping I am wrong and the manual is just explaining how to do it without automatic tool nose radius compensation.
Thanks for all your help.
Regards, Iain.
