Disassemble or take apart Schaublin 102 cross slide screw

I have recently bought a Schaublin 102 cross slide. I have it all apart and have been restoring it. It's coming along well but I have hit a snag. One of the cross slide screws ball bearing sets has either a metal shard in it or something inside with the ball bearings keeping it from rotating. I've scoured the web and I can't find anything on how to get this apart.

Can anyone help?

Thanks for any help you can give me, Tim

You can find instructions and drawings in the screw-operated carriage section of the manual:
Schaublin 102 Service Instructions

You'll have to carefully knock the pin out of the handle, it's conical so tap it from the small end. Then remove the dial wheel and unscrew the setscrew visible in the picture whereafter you can unscrew this part and have access to the bearing (be careful, the balls can fall out when opening).

Many thanks

Many thanks Nozomi. Wonderful instructions and thanks for the literature.
I got them apart and now they have been restored. Doing something new like this was fun. I'll post pics later.
