Mori Seiki SL3 - Fanuc 3T parameters

Hello

I am thinking about buying a old mori sl3 lathe.. its without power for the last 3 months, so i suspect it have lost parameters..

The current owner dosent have the parameters, only the manuals..

Is it possible to find the parameters somewhere?

Sometimes the owner may have the foresight to put a paper copy inside the control cabinet. Try looking there. And you will get more response if you repost this in the CNC forum.

You need to ask an expert but there is a good chance that the 3T has bubble memory which means it does not have batteries to back up the parameters so it wouldn't lose them due to power loss. If it does have battery backup then you might get lucky and they are still good and it has not lost the parameters.

I think I'd consider running power to the machine to find out as part of the deal to buy it or not.

The seller has the machine where there is no power for the machine sadly..

There's a chance Mori Seiki will have parameters, I was able to get some parameters for an old Yasnac 2000g a few years ago from them. It's certainly worth asking them

Pretty sure 3T has bubble. You can't lose parameters unless you smash the bubble board.
