Just looked through the Schaublin 12 Service Instructions and the Schaublin 12 Booklet and neither list any reference to the V-belts.
I have a friend who may be able to help though - check back later.

It's really weird as depending on what setting the short belt is on the long or the short belt is loose.
The long belt does only have two contactpoints, the upper wheel that you shows and the lower wheel.
Can i be missing a contactpoint? Do you'r long belt have a third contactpoint ?

I just got an Schaublin 12 with some, but not all accessories.
Regarding the belt size you can find on the site: Anglo-Swiss Tools - Anglo-Swiss Tools go to Archive, then Schaublin millingmachines, schaublin 12 and get this pdf file "Schaublin 12 manual (German)", go to page 27. Important that it is the German 1950 version.
The english manuals does not inform about the belt sizes.Strange!
