    Your lathe is different than mine so I'm not sure. I'll take a photo of mine when I get home so you can see the difference.

    The lever on the far left of the first photo moves a plate that engages either the belt or gears.

    Move that stud gear to the keyed shaft that also mounts the belt drive pulley. This gear will now engage with the dark fiber gear, LINE UP THE TEETH! Install the retaining clip.
    Shift the lever in the headstock to disengage the gear drive (handle on the left of the chuck key.

    My description might be off, but I just did the change over on my own LZ330, so I know what I tried to say works! ;-)
