I have a manual for that lathe and will look it up.
I think the lathe has just a threaded nose (DIN 800?). To stop the spindle from turning you open the cover plate of the headstock and swivel a little lock into place.

The MDU spindle nose should be to the DIN 800 specification in 60mm X 4MM

I am in the midst of making up a batch of three face plates and chuck mounting plates for an LZ330 with the same spindle nose. I've only produced the "plug thread guage" so far.
    Waiting on the correct "moment".

    Cheers
