Hey guys, I have a Schaublin 102 with the W20 spindle on it and the lathe came with a 3 jaw chuck that is not in very good shape. It is on a shop made back plate (made by a previous owner) and once I checked it out I realized they just cut sae threads in it and it doesn't match the spindle. I have a line on a really nice Buck chuck but I want to put it on a new back plate. My other lathes are not able to cut metric threads and I am not real interested in converting one to be able to make my own.
So, anyone out there have a back plate that I could buy? Literature says the thread is M37.6 x 3 , I'll include the dwg.

The Buck chuck is 3" diameter if it makes any difference.

Thanks,
Jason

I think the only commercial option (other than schaublin presumably) is RC machine in Luxembourg. I have one made by a guy in the Czech Rep. but it doesn't actually fit. I will dig through my PM's later as I think I was offered a couple plates by someone on the forum, they might still have them.

These are always available on Ricardo, from one seller or another...

W20 Futterflansch AKTION! (Schaublin??) in Lohn-Ammannsegg kaufen bei ricardo.ch

You probably want one with a locking nut.
