Take a look at NCAD in Oviedo. I know a few engineering students from UCF that work there and should be able to quote you. I know sometimes they do larger runs at times so they may or may not be backlogged.

    Rj,

If the stuff isn't too heavy you may want to try guys even a state or so away. I'm in montana and most of my customers are in California. Shipping isn't as big a hit as I thought.....

I ship stuff back and forth to up North now, and it's not quite the same as being able to go to a shop and deal face-to-face.

I've got some vendors that I'm pretty happy with, but I thought it would be nice to be able to deal locally.... We'll see.

How are things up your way? Haven't talked with you for a long time.

    Default Too Busy ?

I find it remarkable that RJ Neubould only gets 2 replys so far .
What is happening in Fla that no one needs the work ?
No one wants to make small quantities ?
The economy really is recovering and most shops are already running at capacity ?
People are intimidated by the complexity and precision of the work ?
Maybe I'm reading too much into this , but speaking from my experience , we are very cautious at bidding new work , when we can barely satisfy the needs of our current customers .
RJ , I am not trying to hijack your thread. I hope you get some more responses.
I just can't believe that all of Florida is working full capacity .
Maybe the people looking for work just don't frequent this forum

    Thanks, Bob

I've gotten much more than what's posted in the thread. I've been getting PM's, and gotten at least one that seems potentially good.. I'll be visiting that shop next week..
