Default - Must See Video - Rediculous Fanuc Robot Ride

This YouTube Video caught me by surprise. I was truly amazed at the reckless abandon and a bit jealous that I do not have one in my back yard !

It is a MUST SEE !

That Robot Ride was INSANE! I was practically tossing MY cookies just watching it...let alone even think of trying it.

Thanks for the vids!

Legoland has the same thing, not as wild though..
But then again, they are dealing with visitors and children...

There is also some video I have seen of a ride almost identical to the lego one that was at some sort of industrial trade show. Cant remember where I saw it.

Cant be any more dangerous than these rides that are falling apart at carnivals.

A year ago when we were in Legoland the machines were inside a building. It cannot be seen at the video but one (or two persons) has to "program" your own ride. There is a choice between several actions. rolls, turns, twists, pivotting etc. I had a long talk with my son beefore we agreed to include the upside down roll in the program. After the ride he liked that part the most.

I think I would wear a hard hat. Imagine the harness slackening during the low inverted manoeuvres.
