Not much in the way of description and no picture, but there is a phone number. Mendon, OH is about 45 miles south east of Fort Wayne, IN.
He has other tools and such listed.
OLD LINE SHAFT METAL LATHE - Lot of Attachments, Very Good Condition with 8 inch Chuck...36 inches between centers - $300.00

They can't be Hardinge lathes, so I am not interested.

tale of 2 lathes
HEY THESE ARE IN MY NECK OF THE WOODS! I went and looked at them over my lunch break, the smaller one is a Miami Valley, looks older and smaller than the one I already have, has been outside covered with blue tarps, a few broken parts, loose spindle bearings, broken taper attachment, but a full set of change gears and steady rest. I'm thinking long and hard about this one because I need change gears. The other one is a huge Reed, 18" by about 12', also outside and tarped. No line shaft or counter shafts, the guy has a lot of "stuff" mostly modern mechanics tools. The Reed was used at a Stone quarry and has small cut-outs in the ways near the headstock for increased swing, but otherwise the ways are pretty good. Probably a 6000# machine. Lots of stuff packed around the lathe, would be some work to get it out, the Miami needs to be moved first, so maybe I'll do that so the reed is easier for someone else to get.

Thanks for the pictures, Bret. I like the lack of fresh blue spray paint. The old boy must not subscribe to normal old lathe marketing practices, i. e. "liquid rebuild.".
