Machine- 1993 4 axis Fadal 4020HT

Well, I hadn't ran the machine in about two weeks, nor had her turned on. I went out this morning and while trying the cold start procedure, I get an error - "Waiting while slides are being positioned at zero."

When clearing off the cold start and immediately entering the jog command, I get - "Amplifier fault on Y axis. Wait 2 sec. The axis drivers are being reset."

When trying the jog command a second time, I get the same message.

I have checked fuses and reset trip breakers, still the same messages.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Andrew

If the axis boards are the type that have the plug in connectors (as oppose to the screw down type), then sometimes
the connectors will get loose and cause that problem, wiggle the connectors and see if the green led blinks or goes off.
