1936 Frakenlathe!

Here is the long story....I purchased a 1936 "c" that had a QC gearbox! The bed was poorly drilled for adaptation of the gearbox. I can bushing the hole and fix. Unfortunately it only came with a "c" apron and saddle does not have hole in casting for the power crossfeed. Also, the lead screw had no slot either. Evidently the gearbox was added for the lack of gears only.

Well after several eBay purchases, I have a poor "a" apron, good saddle & compound w gear, new lead screw. I decided to rebuild the apron. I was able to obtain an AS203NK1 gear.

I am now debating whetether I should just punt! I have no gears for the "c"? Lots of money invested thus far....I really don't want this lathe to end up in parts.

Please PM me if you have any of the below. I am not a dismantler, just a belief in the quality of Southbend. If anyone out there would look in their parts bin and help to rescue of an old girl.

I am now missing the apron drive gear (PT77NK1).
Half nuts are fair but I would like to replace.
I need the side gear cover and hinge.
I need the right bull gear cover (2 part version).

I am planning to powder coat soon...any help would be appreciated.
