Hello all. I've posted a few of these here before, but wanted to put the whole compendium up for consumption.

So here she is, my Air Force owned 10L the day I picked her up. Painted twice with all the care of a tobacco barn. Cross feed and compound screws totally smoked, wrong handle on the belt tensioner, bent ball screw handle. Pretty sure it had been tipped on its front at some point.

Thanks! Your image <IMG_1162>, showing side by side half nuts, answers the question I posted here a couple days ago. (See <http://www.practicalmachinist.com/vb/south-bend-lathes/worn-9a-half-nuts-329394/>.) 226 views and zero replies. :(

I assume the photo shows a NOS on the left, and on the right one that was on the lathe when you got it. Correct?

Jon

Yes that's correct.
