Greetings all,

I have been thinking I would like to install a locking screw that would push against the gibb, perhaps, thus being able to lock the compound in a given position. Has anyone done this and or give directions for doing so?

Thanks,

Pete

other than just tightening the gib when you want it locked, loosening it when you want to use the compound, i`m not sure what the best way would be.

i suppose one could drill and tap the casting for a grub screw to bear on the gib. but make darn sure it has a brass shoe or something to keep from "dimpling" the backside of the gib.
