Is it Factory or mod?

I am going thru my 13" 1966 SB toolroom lathe and I see what looks like a coolant dam keyed in the headstock. Did someone make this or did SB offer as a option. Pic to follow

Cant figure out the pic riht now. I will try later.

Factory install. My Heavy 10 has them. My serial card shows my lathe was equipped with a coolant pump. The pump is long gone but the sealing is still there.

The forum has a known glitch when you want to add pictures to the original (vs. subsequent) thread post, the one you start your new thread with. You have to publish the post, first, and then re-open it for editing in order to add pictures. Press EDIT POST (found just below your post), then press MANAGE ATTACHMENTS.

You have an opportunity to edit your posts for a few days after publishing.

Thanks guys. Guess im remaking the one side because it got crashed. I was gonna plug it if it was a mod.
