My heavy ten has an incomplete TA.
The part that slides along the bar that is set to form the taper has gone missing.
There is a lot of play in the cross slide leadscrew due to play where the leadscrew is held in the TA
Is it possible to just take off the TA and run it with the leadscrew not fixed at the far end?
