There is a pin driven thru the cap, near the end. Nearly impossible to see, and impossible to replace cleanly. Don't disassemble this unless you absolutely have to.
I didn't think it was that hard to take them out. And I've disassembled 4 of them: 1 on reversing gear lever, 1 on apron, 2 on the qcgb. That's also the order in which I took them apart. For whatever reason, the QCGB ones were a bit more difficult. The most difficult part is getting that pin to start moving. Once you see it's faint outline after it moves 0.002", then it's pretty much a home run, since you know where to apply all the force. The only reason I took it apart was to get the rust out and be able to lubricate everything properly. I have not gotten to re-assembly, so I can't comment on how difficult that will be.
