How to disassemble 9A thread dial indicator??

Moved on to the mess that is the Apron- and the rebuild manual does not address the cleaning of the thread dial indicator. Removing the set screw and the bottom gear was self-explanatory, but how to get the shaft, and the indicator dial apart for a thorough cleaning??

There's a small ball bearing which looks to be an oil location at the top, and what also looks like it could be a small nut for a spanner bit- but there's no slots in it.

Help?:confused:
 
On the 10K dial, which could be the same, there is a hole in the right side of the housing just below the
top. There is a hex set screw in there. Rotate the dial until the screw lines up with the hole. That screw
is also used to align the dial marks with the witness mark when assembleing.

Thanks. Found it, frozen though. We'll see if an overnight soak with PB Blaster in the hole loosens it up.
