Faceplate Blanks

I ran into some cast iron castings, "blanks" that are shaped like a faceplate, including the hub. They are 5.5" outside diameter and look to me as if they would make great faceplates for smaller chucks. These are blanks, unmachined.
Would there be any interest in them if the price was right?

I didn't think at the time and only picked up one, i am pretty sure i can get more if there is interest.

I'm sure you could sell them. Note that CDCO has 5" backplates with the spindle mount already threaded for $36 plus shipping. So, you'll have to beat that price by a fair amount.

Without spindle threads, they're aren't worth a ton. Spill the beans... what can you re-sell them for? 10-15 bucks plus shipping and I'm in.

I once made a chuck back plate from one of these. It worked great. Useful for an oddball spindle or as in my case at the time - I had more time than money.
