I have a friend who just bought what appears to be a 1916, South Bend 13", serial number 9681, the bed appears to be around 5' long. It has power long and crossfeed but uses change gears, all missing at this point. We are going to go back next weekend and see if we can find them at the old guys shop. The machine is covered with crud and grease, other than that the machine appears clean and in pretty good shape under the crud.
How hard are the change gears gonna be to find?
Any info on this machine would be helpful!!
Any pictures of restored or similar models would be helpful also.
