Looking for a bull gear with a good plunger for SB Heavy 10

I am restoring a South Bend heavy 10 lathe. I pulled the bull gear cover and discovered there were two broken teeth. They are not back to back, and I wonder if this would be a problem at all. I am looking at parts lists and coming up with part number AS15R1. Is this the correct part number for the bull gear on a Heavy 10?

Also, I was wondering if a Logan bull gear would work?

If anyone has a good bull gear, I would appreciate a PM.

Thanks!

If you are looking at the bull gear for a 10" Logan that is in on EBay right now you might want to note that it has a 1.25" ID and your Heavy 10 likely has a spindle bore of 1.375". In general, Logan and Southbend parts are not interchangeable.

There are a lot of threads on here about repairing gears. I brazed mine and it came out pretty good. There are a few members on here who sell parts that you could contact if you want to buy one. SBLatheman and Steve Wells are the two I have delt with. They also come across Ebay fairly often but often get priced at a premium if they are in good shape.
