Found this a bit ago, today was the day to go get it and get it home. From what I can tell, it's a 15", with 8' bed. Serial number is 29116. Was getting dark when I got it home, so it's covered up and will get moved into the shop this week.

From a quick search, it looks like a mid 20's model. Everything seems tight, maybe .020" play in the cross slide screw for example. MAchine seems tight, and well looked after. I got three chucks, a bunch of toolbits, live centre for the tailstock, steady rest, threading dial, micrometer carriage stop all with it.

It's setup with a 3hp motor, wired for 220V single phase, all I'll need to do is run a wire, and hook up to the panel.

Congratulations on your South Bend---bet sleep came interupted but with smiles. Great to have something in life to be enthusiastic about (the key to happiness in IMHO).
Keep us posted on the set up.

Great looking lathe :) Should clean up really well, most of the rust looks to be just surface corrosion, should come right off with a scotch-brite pad :)

I hope you don't have to try and get it into a basement!!! ;)
