milling attachment questions

Hi all,
I am looking for the v-blocks for my 9" milling attachment. LeBlond wants $108.00 for EACH block

- not for the pair - NO THANKS!!. Does anyone have dimensions? Or perhaps a source for used ones for sale?

Are you talking about those thin slips of metal with the shallow "v" cut in them?

I have mine right here.

They are made from 1/4 by 7/8 inch cold rolled and they are 3 3/32 in. long.

The "V" is 90 degrees and cut so the apex is 1/8 in. deep.

I'll make you a set for $107.99 each - or

Now that you know what's up, You can make them.

Whilst you is at it, feel free to make any quantity you jolly well feel like with any old contour or lack of that you might need or imagine that you will need.

And make them out of any old metal that you want to.

It's Your lathe and Your Milling attachement and nobody, even South Bend can tell you what to do.
