I was given a steady rest and follower rest several years ago that were for a 10" South Bend. At the time I was using the steady on my Sears Atlas 12" by using spacer blocks. I have since upgraded to a 9-A and at first tried to trade for the proper ones with no success. So the beauty of having a machine shop, is that you can always do a modification. The only casualty was a busted ear where the top portion hinges to the bottom which was easily fixed by brazing.
