Hey everyone, just joined the board. I’ve been a lurker for quite some time. I just picked up this 1950 South Bend CL145B 13” Lathe. The Lathe has two standoffs on the back side of the bed.Im not sure if they are OEM.... The bed is not too warn but they did not follow the rules of putting object on the ways. Lots of little dings on the ways. She’s a little dirty but I’m going to go ahead and start using it. Have you ever seen the date of manufacture stamped in the bed?The Lathe came with a steady rest, follower rest, Dorian tool post and 5 tool holders,Collet Closer, 12-5C collets in a sheet metal rack,3 jaw chuck, and 4 jaw chuck. It is missing the taper attachment and has a 1hp 3ph motor. Over all very good deal at $650.Sorry about the rotated pics.
