New Business for Rose

For those not on the yahoo forum, Rose at South Bend has left to open her own parts business for lathes. She knows everything there is to know about these lathes and also has the history and serial # information on all the lathes. She can tell you when the lathe was manufactured, and who bought it and where it was shipped using your serial#. For her info check todays thread on YahooSouthBend

Left where and what ?

Rose worked at South Bend lathe Company for years.She handles technical questions and who knows what else. She can answer any question you have about a SBL. When they were locked out in 2002 at the Studebaker plant she moved down here to Cincy and worked for the LeBlond gang when they bought the South Bend replacement parts. When they fired SBL back up she went back to work for them. She rattles off part #'s out of her head and can tell you the tolerances for the machine parts. It is always nice to work with someone that really knoews their stuff. Not like going to Home Depot or Lowes.
