New to the forum and with a 10L

Hello everyone, newbie here...just purchased a 10L from a highschool that's updateing there machine shop...seems to be in good shape, no broken gears, but found a broken tail stock clamp and apron lock clamp..probably have to start looking for a apron clamp...I'm thinkin the shop instructor was a 'coach' by the latex house paint job...if you know what I mean.. but it does have a taper attachment and one of the reason's I bought it...There seems to be a bad bearing in the cross feed screw..wants to catch once in awhile...can the be found at the local bearing house? In the process of cleaning and prepping for paint and thinking of using rustolem...unless there is something better to use...well ive used enough space, so just want to say I really enjoy this site and have been lurking for sometime...Ive got a 10K I've had for several years and have been looking for an L for sometime to do some gun work....so this site is the best ever for SouthBend....thanks

Several people on this site and on ebay make new crossfeed bushings and can replace the Acme thread if needed.
