newbie needs help with 4 jaw chuck

Just picked up a south bend 9A and starting to clean it up I noticed that the chuck screws on the 6 in 4 jaw chuck have many broken places on the threads and the square holes are wobbled out pretty bad. The jaws seem to be in good shape as well as the body. Is there a place I can order new screws or am I stuck with buying a new chuck ?

Is there a name brand on the chuck? If there is, you should be able to contact them on the web, if they are still around. If not, recutting the square on your chuck key and deburring the screws may keep them servicable. Good luck.
