ok here goes. in my quest for a lathe I found a 9" underdrive so i hastely bought it, ( i dont really have room for that any way)
as i kept searching for tooling about a mile from my house i found a SUPER clean and tight sb 9" bench top. I have searched
for serial # id but there seems to be a gap where my numbers should be. the ser.# 13157nar8 any info would be greatly appriciated!
im not a machinist by trade, welder/fabricater/hobbiest so im learning. took machine shop in high school so i can fumble my way
through most stuff. learning all over is the fun part!

now for the other sb9 31/2 bed cat # 107 z theres no ser. # on the end of bed where it is on my benchtop. so if anyone is interested

Lathe is sold thanks for looking
in it please CALL (im not so computer savy) and i will describe it for you just lookin to get my money back on this one.

Found the ad Southbend lathe
Someone more familiar than I could possibly say, but it looks like a very early heavy 10" 3.5 foot bed Model B? Cannot find one in a catalog going back to 39, only with quick-change which would be a 187z

And now the pics are gone. So much for that one. Yes- there was a loose change gear heavy 10 very briefly, which certainly could have been a 107.
